We had an incredible evening of food and drink with great service. We could not get an earlier seating than 8:30 p.m. and that worked out wonderfully as the restaurant cleared out, the noise level became just us, and the servers could spend a little more time with us. The star of the evening (for me) was the crispy duck leg confit -- an appetizer, but just amazing flavors. We also had the fig toast, also quite good. We ordered two drinks: Who Shot JR? and Sweetest Taboo. The bartender deserves an Oscar. Complex flavors and just terrific drinks. He also recommended the Merry Edward Sauvignon Blanc which went terrifically with our meal of the rockfish (wife) and the rigatoni (me). The main courses were excellent and continued the feeling of being treated so well. Natasha was our server and she spend the time needed to answer all our questions and made wonderful recommendations. It may be that she could not go wrong as everything was so good. Between Natasha and the bartender, we were in very good hands. Desserts were the Yuzu and the sweet potato cake. Every bite was enjoyed immensely. If we lived in Wilmington we would go back every week. What a lucky choice for a special dinner!

Me and my fiancé just had our first dinner here and we absolutely loved it! Ambience is lovely: it's cozy, romantic, and makes you feel like you are somewhere in Paris. The food was absolutely glorious. We had lamb, gnocchi, eggplant Milanese, duck leg and chocolate desert and all of it was scrumptious. Fantastic service was provided by Lindsey. She was super attentive and welcoming, and gave us great recommendations for food and drink. We will definitely be back!

Very fresh food and great ambience. Our server was knowledgeable and definitely had fine dining experience.The pork belly appetizer was some of the best I've had, it was falling apart in my mouth

I went here last minute on Friday for dinner. The service was amazing, the waitress checked in on us and made sure everything was good. We did not feel rushed at all. We ordered the focaccia to split which was phenomenal. Then tried some Wagyu tartare, tuna tartare, pasta, and dessert. The wine was delightful as well. This is one of the best meals I've had in a while. The inside of the restaurant is cute and on the small side, it did not feel cramped though. I am already looking forward to going back!

After a bad night at a bar down the street with terrible service, we walked into La Fia. Were immediately greeted and sat at the bar. The bartender was amazing and really knows what she is doing. The cocktails were well balanced and beautiful. We ordered the fig toast and duck confit, both were delicious. I will definitely be returning for dinner sometime soon.

Always really great food and I like their wine list as well. Service is usually pretty good in the restaurant and is decent in the bar. Will definitely be back

If you book through Ooen Table be aware it may mean an outside table but they do call back to tell you. When we arrived we were the only ones that would have been outside and asked if we could eat at the bar which we did and appreciated that. The bartender was helpful and his service was great. It did take awhile to get the food out though They have a Wednesday prix fixe option which I did. Started with a salad which was good. Had the branzino-my favorite fish. It was tasty and cooked nice. Ended with the pistachio torte which was also nice. The place is not large so was a bit noisy. Outside seating may be fine but not terribly appealing.

First time here and we all absolutely love everything we ordered. You can taste the home made goodness. Everything was delicious but it didn't leave me thirsty afterward. Sam our waiter was very professional and friendly. Easy street parking and free parking after 6 pm. We would definitely recommend this place and will be back ourselves.

Good food, good service, good price. I always tip extra when I don't have to scan the room to try and make eye contact with my service for a refill or to put in my order or get my check at the end of my meal Fig toast is such a pleasant way to start a meal. Bright and thinly sliced figs on top of a bed of whipped stracciatella. The toast looked way too burnt but actually it was quite pleasant to eat and did not taste burnt. The salty pancetta was a nice twist - made the combination feel and taste kind of like peanut butter Very generous lump of crab meat on the saffron spaghetti. I was intrigued by the yuzu olive oil cake but my date wanted to try the panna cotta - very tasty. Fresh fruit with cream is a great way to end a meal. Dessert was so light and pleasant.
